Optimize Replenishment Efficiency

Based on forecasted and confirmed product and material needs, the WebSCM Inventory Optimizer generates requirements for procurement, transfers, or production. Our optimizer calculates target inventory levels and optimal replenishment dates, considering supply chain parameters such as lead times, replenishment routes, and various logistical regulations and constraints.

Determining Optimal Inventory Levels

Our AI-driven engine calculates ideal inventory levels based on historical sales data, forecast accuracy, and supply chain reliability. Inventory target levels dynamically adjust for each product and its storage location, ensuring you always maintain the right amount of stock where it’s needed most.

Inventory Levels and Zones

WebSCM IO calculates boundaries that create four distinct zones:

Critical Zone: If the forecasted inventory level on a specific date falls into this zone, there is a risk of stockouts.

Replenishment Zone: Inventory in this zone indicates that replenishment is necessary.

Optimal Zone: This zone represents the optimal inventory level.

Excess Inventory Zone: Inventory in this zone exceeds planned needs and safety stock, making it inefficient from a logistical standpoint.

Optimization for Long Lead Times

If your supplier’s or manufacturer's lead time exceeds several months and demand is unpredictable, WebSCM uses advanced algorithms to schedule more frequent deliveries, reducing the risks of stockouts or excess inventory.

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)

Enhance your inventory planning with WebSCM’s Inventory Optimizer, a key part of your Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. How It Works

The Inventory Optimizer seamlessly integrates into your supply chain, utilizing advanced AI algorithms to enhance logistics operations and maintain optimal inventory levels. By analyzing vast amounts of data, it provides actionable insights and automatically generates replenishment orders and plans. Through a user-friendly dashboard, you can visualize current inventory, forecast demand, and monitor automated orders, making real-time adjustments as needed. Our system continuously learns from your data, refining recommendations to ensure your inventory strategy evolves with your business needs.

WebSCM simplifies data integration by automatically connecting to external systems. It aggregates and stores all necessary data within the internal DataHub storage. During this process, WebSCM performs essential validations and data transformations to ensure accuracy and consistency.

The WebSCM Demand Forecast module uses artificial intelligence to analyze various factors, including historical data, seasonal fluctuations, customer behavior, and external market conditions. Based on this analysis, the system generates accurate forecasts and calculates the impact of these factors on predicted sales.

You can analyze the forecasts and adjust your sales plans to meet your goals. The necessary decomposition will be done automatically.

WebSCM’s intelligent algorithms autonomously calculate the optimal replenishment timings and quantities. It generates comprehensive plans or orders for internal transfers, procurement, or production activities, considering both forecasted demand and actual sales data.

This step involves reviewing and confirming the purchase and movement orders generated by WebSCM. Users can analyze order details, make necessary adjustments, and approve them for execution. This ensures that all orders meet the required specifications, agreed with suppliers and are ready for fulfillment.

Finally, confirmed orders are uploaded to external systems, such as your ERP or other operational systems. This step ensures that all stakeholders have access to the latest order information and can proceed with fulfillment. WebSCM supports various data formats to facilitate this process.
